Educational game purposes

This project is designed for educational game purposes. It encourages reflection on political values and can help you prepare questions when considering how to vote. A character match does not tell you which candidate or party to choose. Compare current policies and reliable sources before making your own voting decision.

Play for reflection

This free game is for educational reflection and entertainment. Results are simplified coordinate comparisons and should not be treated as voting advice, scientific diagnosis or a complete description of a person’s beliefs. There is no pass or fail.

People, fiction and historical context

Profiles are editorial approximations. Fictional characters’ positions do not represent their actors’ politics. Images are used to identify the subject; no endorsement by a person, estate, studio, publisher or franchise is implied. The Hitler profile is included for critical historical comparison and identifies his responsibility for Nazi crimes.

Independent name and content

This is an independent game, not an official version of The Political Compass or SapplyValues. No licence to another party’s trademarks, and no registered status for this title, is claimed. The geometric logo was created for this project. Third-party questions, photographs, illustrations and fonts retain their own licences and conditions in the credits.

Book recommendations and Amazon

Suggested books provide context or the original fictional story; a listing is not an endorsement of every opinion in a book. Links open Amazon search results. Titles, editions, availability, pricing and purchase terms are controlled by the seller. No product prices, ratings or availability promises are displayed here.

When the publisher configures an Amazon Associates ID, tagged links will be labelled as paid links, and the disclosure “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases” will appear with the suggestions. Until then, links do not include an affiliate ID and this site does not claim to earn commission. Joining Amazon’s program and earning fees require a valid account and compliance with its terms; the code alone does not enrol the publisher.
